A night to remember

Because if a very good friend of mine, I was able to get backstage and meet some of the members of Chicago at a concert I attended recently.    I had a nice talk with Jim Pankow, trombonist with the band since 1967!!  The band Chicago has written some of my most inspirational music, and I will never forget talking with Jim about our mutual trombone teacher at DePaul, Mark McDunn.    I also had the privilege of meeting the famed trumpeter, Lee Thornburg (he started the band Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, and has played with Supertramp, Little Feat, Tower of Power, etc...), Lee was subbing for Lee Loughlane.

Thanks to Skip, Vito, Andy, and especially Mr. Mike Bruni for arranging and treating me like family on this night to remember.
